Last week, our daughter got several mail pieces just for her. In our instant messaging digital world, we’re in the habit of sending emails or Facebook messages for just about everything. But those envelopes showing up in our mailbox just made her day! The email couldn’t hold a candle to those letters.
When we’re the senders, thank you notes are the one thing that we insist on being handwritten. We’re on a huge thank-you note-cards-writing binge right now. Having just had knee surgery, I have thank you notes headed out to friends who made meals, parents who watched our daughter, people who loaned us the gear we needed, and more. ‘Tis the season for thank you notes!
