It’s funny, but when I was a teenager and my mom started using Pampered Chef stoneware, I swore I would never cook with it in my own kitchen. The idea of using a dish that you didn’t wash with soap — you do know you’re not supposed to wash them with soap, right? — was just disgusting and unappealing.
Fast forward a few years to my Pampered Chef bridal shower and suddenly I knew I needed that stoneware in my kitchen. Eventually I became a Pampered Chef consultant and acquired quite a few pieces of stoneware along the way. These days, I almost exclusively use stoneware for baking, and I can’t imagine going back.
Today I want to know…
Do you use stoneware in your kitchen?
If so, what is your favorite thing about it?
If not, why not?
Do you have a recipe that you only make in a stoneware pan?
And the big one…do you wash yours with soap?
