I got home from the grocery store today and realized that I had forgotten to buy mayonnaise…

…just as my daughter was asking for tuna salad for lunch. After thinking a moment, I pulled up my copy of Easy Homemade, and within five minutes we had made our own mayonnaise – it was easy and delicious!

There are many great recipes in this book; I am especially excited about the salad dressings and spice mixes. As a mom who strives to cook healthy meals from scratch, I sometimes get overwhelmed with complicated recipes or high prices at the health food store. Now with Easy Homemade, I have simple recipes, all in one place, and I can make those healthy staples myself.

I KNEW IT!!

There really is an easy way to make those store-bought items at home. Thanks for making it so easy to make my own, help my budget at home, and eat more pure food than the packaged product provides.

My favorite food quote of all time: I asked my own grandmother once how she became such a good cook, and she replied, “70 years of breakfast, lunch and dinner.” So true!

Who knew that these things could be made at home? And made by me? Recipes that include too many ingredients and too many instructions tend to overwhelm me. These recipes are simple & easy, perfect for anyone with a love for cooking who wants to keep it simple in the kitchen.

I love to prepare simple, healthy, and inexpensive foods.

However, finding appropriate recipes usually involves weeding through Google results to come up with a recipe that uses ingredients I have on hand and feel comfortable feeding my family. Now, Mandi has beautifully organized a slew of pantry staples made with easy to find ingredients. The information Mandi presents in Easy. Homemade can definitely help me save time in the kitchen while allowing me to feel good about what my family is eating.

I was so excited to see the book filled with recipes for items I buy all the time and lots of other helpful tips. I can’t wait to try the chocolate syrup recipe, mayonnaise, refrigerator pickles and cream cheese. I have tons of cookbooks but nothing with recipes for making these staples from scratch. Thank you!

Coming from someone who often finds herself discombobulated, I loved the Easy. Homemade. ebook. I loved the easy to make recipes and the simple way we can make many things from scratch, while at the same time providing our families a healthier version of what we find on store shelves because we have eliminated those “questionable ingredients.”

My favorite part of the book was the “Pantry List” giving me a list of what I need to have on hand to make my life easier while making recipes from scratch. I look forward to making meals a little less discombobulated.

These simple and easy-to-follow recipes will make any mom, dad, or college student a master at the kitchen staples in no time.

Easy. Homemade is exactly the resource you need…

…when you’re “eating down the pantry” or simply don’t want to run out to the store for a missing ingredient. Who knew there were so many pantry staples that you could make at home?

I admit, I knew a few of these, but I’ve never tried my hand at my own sweetened condensed milk or homemade buttermilk. Mandi has put together a great resource to help you make homemade as well as use what you have without resorting to processed foods.
