{30} Things to Declutter

Empty Shelf
Mandi Ehman

I am counting down the days to my 30th birthday, and I couldn’t be more excited! Truly! As I was brainstorming ways to celebrate here on the blog, I couldn’t help but think that 30 lists of {30} items would be just about perfect for my type-A, list-making self. Join me for the next month as I share the things I’ve learned in the past 30 years and my hopes for the future! See all 30 Days of {30} posts here.

Since Life Your Way began as Organizing Your Way, I thought we’d dive right in with an organizing post next. As you know, I’m a huge advocate of decluttering your space to make time and room for the things that matter most. I’m not sure I’d call myself a minimalist just yet (although people who have been to my home do!), but I do believe that having less stuff is always better than having more!

Not sure where to start? Here’s a list of 30 things to declutter:

1. Books?! (Or not…)

2. Clothes.

3. Children’s clothes.

4. Shoes.

5. Magazines.

6. Small appliances in your kitchen.
