As we head into October, I’m counting down the days — literally — until Jackson’s birth and my maternity leave!
The most important thing I learned this summer is how much I enjoy working ahead rather than down to the deadline, and I’m excited about the next three months as I have almost all of our posts scheduled through the end of the year! Over the past 5 years, I’ve taken a week to ten days off here and there, but never an extended break like this, and while I’ll still be checking in to make sure things are running smoothly and working on some projects when I get the itch, I’m looking forward to a break from the pressure of deadlines and to-do lists.

This week I published the final module in the From Idea to eBook course! I will be adding a few updates in the next week, but the course is pretty much done. If you’ve been on the fence about whether to sign up or not, now is the time to jump in — you’ll get access to all 10 modules plus printables, case studies and videos to assist you through your ebook publishing process, no matter what stage you’re at. The price is still $17, but I can’t guarantee it won’t go up in the near future, so don’t put it off for too long!
