In the health industry, there are a lot of different new degrees that you can take to land a job. With innovative programs and courses available not only to get you started on your new career but also to give you skills and knowledge, there is something for everyone! Degrees like therapeutic recreation will allow one to work with people who have disabilities or chronic illnesses. Health information management will teach one how to properly organize health records which can be very important in this age of electronic medical records. And then there are the more common degrees like nursing, physician assistant studies (PA), physical therapy (PT), etc. The possibilities really are endless when it comes to what degree someone wants to pursue in the health industry! 

Public Health Degree

Public Health degrees are designed to give students a strong grasp of an array of public health concepts and issues. Many public health degree programs prepare graduates for work in the private or government sectors, including certifying organizations or groups like the American College Health Association or the American Red Cross.
