Lemon Ginger Tisane {Tea}: Cough and Cold Relief

  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½-1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 thin slices of lemon for garnish
  1. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Add the ginger and two cups of water to a small saucepan or tea kettle and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn the heat off, add lemon juice and allow the tea to steep for 15 minutes. Strain into heated cups. Stir in the desired amount of honey.
  3. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
