For those of us here in the States, we are anticipating our biggest summer holiday next week — Independence Day! Most of us will be attending picnics, parades, fireworks and all sorts of festive social gatherings, and the biggest question after “what will we eat” is probably “what will we WEAR!?”
Well, we’re here to help!!
Please don’t take Fourth of July fashion too literally. Don’t be the 5th person at the party wearing a tee-shirt with an American flag plastered on your chest. Let’s take up a notch, shall we?
Here are some classier ways to do Fourth of July Fashion! The best part is, you don’t even have to go to the mall (unless you want to, of course. Me? I will take any excuse.) But you can just as easily shop your closet. Find some pieces in red, white and blue and put them together.
If your gathering is casual, try something like this. Jean shorts with red-and-white striped top and coordinating accessories looks patriotic without trying too hard.
Want to dress it up a bit? Crisp white jeans or pants paired with a navy top and red accessories will keep you looking fresh and classy all day long!
Or is a dress more your speed? Try a fun maxi dress. Throw on a denim jacket for the evening fireworks.
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING FOR THE FOURTH???
