We’ve started a new tradition where we go out to eat on Sundays after church before running errands and grocery shopping. In the past, we grabbed fast food on the way, and although eating at a restaurant costs more, I love sitting down with my people for an hour or so each week just to eat and enjoy each other’s company (with someone else preparing the food, clearing the table and doing the dishes!).
Although it’s not a normal stop for us, we were excited to take a break from our routine and visit Buca di Beppo a couple of weeks ago to take advantage of their “feed four for $40” coupon.
Because of the size of our family, we got to sit in the Pope room, and the girls giggled as they each took a turn sitting in the Pope chair (before Mama kicked them all out and sat there herself to avoid further argument!).
The girls got a large salad, garlic bread and ravioli to share, but we all shared the bread and salad, and we even brought leftover ravioli home!
Although it wasn’t part of the coupon, I have to admit that my favorite part of the meal was the calamari. I’ve waited a long time for someone else in my family to like it, because it has always been one of my favorites, and now that my girls will eat it, I can justify adding it as an appetizer to share with the family!
Buca di Beppo is perfect for hosting parties or celebrating special occasions as well. Visit the website to make reservations and be sure to print your coupon, which is good on dine in or carryout through 9/27!
