As a kid, I loved our elastic wrap bandages. Any time I twisted my ankle or fell down, I’d ask my dad to wrap it up with a bandage and secure it with the little metal clips (assuming we could find them!).
Turns out my girls feel the exact same way about bandages, and when these fun SAFESKIN Kids Sport Wrap showed up for us to try for National Youth Sports Safety Month, they immediately started wrapping their ankles and wrists and arms and legs.
SAFESKIN Kids Sport Wrap is the first colored sports wrap designed specifically for children and teens. Unlike the beige wraps of my own childhood, these come in bright red and blue and don’t need need clips or pins to secure in place.
Earlier this week, our oldest crashed while rollerblading and ended up with road rash on the side of her arm. Even with a bandaid covering the area, she kept bumping it into things, which was painful, and she immediately decided that the sport wrap would be perfect for cushioning the area. And of course there’s the cool factor that comes from having a bandage wrapped around your arm when you’re 7 years old!
The SAFESKIN Kids Sport Wrap is a great option for your first aid kit — at home or on the go! It’s self adhesive, water resistant, reusable and latex free.
You can purchase SAFESKIN Kids Sport Wrap at Walmart for $3.94, and be sure to like Safeskin on Facebook to get a $0.50 off coupon!
