A new trend I’ve been playing around with is wearing white jeans with my fall outfits. I know that modern fashion wisdom states that you no longer have to lay your whites to rest after Labor Day, but there are some tricks to doing it right.
When wearing white after Labor Day, you want to stay away from light-weight fabrics. This is why white jeans are the perfect way to dabble in this trend.
Pair your white jeans with fall wardrobe items, such as boots and sweaters.
It helps to wear fall colors as well.
I love the outfit shown above — the pumpkin orange bag and forest green sweater and brown boots scream fall! apple picking! pumpkin pie!! Put them with white jeans, and you have a crisp, chic fall look you can wear with confidence!
Last week I put this outfit together. I paired my white jeans with a charcoal gray top — even though it has short sleeves, the color and weight of the material make it a fall wardrobe piece. I tried the outfit first with black suede loafers and then with black leather boots.
I think I like it both ways, but I ended up wearing the loafers. Then, I added a burgundy tote for a pop of fall color, and I was good to go!
How about you? Do you wear white after Labor Day?
