Mailing clients with huge budgets don’t leave the attempts to compete for leadership in the market. Some companies like Google offer their Gmail clients up to 15 GB of free space to store their files and correspondence. Others invest in data security, updating their protections mechanisms, and introducing advanced encryption methods. However, many mailing services do not have the money or desire to improve their software, so it becomes completely outdated. Today, we will talk about the mailing clients abandoning and switching to Microsoft Outlook.

Why Should You Consider Microsoft Outlook?
Microsoft Outlook is probably the most famous email service provider. The company has powerful corporate-level end-to-end encryption. It easily detects ransomware viruses, so your mailbox will be reliably protected. Outlook integrates primarily with other Microsoft products such as Office and OneDrive cloud storage. It is also available for mobile apps for iOS and Android. If you use one of the below mailing apps, you should seriously consider the Mbox to Outlook migration due to security reasons.
1. Mozilla Thunderbird
Thunderbird is the former Mozilla’s email software, which now is owned by MZLA Technologies Corporation. Like all Mozilla apps, this mailing client is offered for free, which causes many suspicions. The app is funded entirely by donations, so there is no certainty that the app is regularly updated and your data is safe and secure. In terms of security, it offers protection against phishing and the ability to notify sites that you don’t want to be followed. Still, there are many security concerns associated with this tool, so we believe it should be abandoned.
2. Zimbra
Zimbra is software for joint work. The idea behind Zimbra is to combine email with other teamwork tools. These include individual and group chats. This platform works on Windows, macOS, and Linux. However, cloud services like Zimbra have their own weaknesses because they are usually the subject of cyberattacks. So, if you are looking for a secure and reliable mailing app – Zimbra is not the best solution.
3. Pegasus Mail
Pegasus Mail is an email client for Windows. It has existed longer than any other modern mailing app, so many users continue to work with this tool either because they feel nostalgia or simply don’t know how to transfer their correspondence to the alternative client. The app’s interface is outdated, so even Windows XP users understand it. There is no need to stay – use the automatic transfer tools to migrate.
These are only three examples of mailing clients which should be abandoned. The list can be expanded with Opera Mail, Netscape Messenger, Ubuntu Evolution, Mulberry, SeaMonkey Mail, etc. Don’t sacrifice your security and comfort if you can move to Microsoft Outlook. Take this step forward.
