Organized Simplicity…a New Definition (+ Giveaway!)

**This giveaway is now closed.** Congratulations to Nina ([email protected]…), who won a copy of Organized Simplicity!

Two years ago, I took a huge step of faith and asked Tsh Oxenreider of The Art of Simple if she would mentor me as I launched Organizing Your Way. I had admired Simple Mom because she had grown this huge audience based on authenticity and her desire to share simple living with other people.

Amazingly, she said yes, and I learned so much from her that have made Organizing Your Way and now Life Your Way a success.

These days, I’m privileged to call Tsh my friend, and I was excited when she sent me a copy of her brand spankin’ new book, Organized Simplicty: The Clutter-Free Approach to Simple Living.

The book is beautiful, with photos from other bloggers (like Angie from The Creative Mama) and practical wisdom for any family wanting to create a simpler — but fuller — life.

When the book arrived, I started reading right away, and I quickly realized that I was going to underline practically the whole book if I didn’t hold myself back.

I want to share a couple of my favorite quotes with you, but unlike funny movie trailers — where you often see all of the scenes worth seeing — this is just a glimpse of what you’ll find in Organized Simplicity:

Simple living is about living your life with a purpose that aligns with your values…It’s fulfilling; it brings peace; it drips with contentment. Living simply is about being who you were made to be.

Realistic simple living is for you and your family. It’s the best way to live life. It means that all the parts of your life are pointed in the same direction, a direction that has purpose and vibrancy.

We let the things we value most take a backseat to whatever is begging for attention in the moment.

Within a busy world and a fast-paced environment culture with an infinite list of demands, your soul needs some constant, a rock that helps your determine what you can do and what you just can’t, or at least what can wait until later.

See? This is good stuff.

You can get the book at Amazon for $11.55. It would make a great gift for any family, and I highly recommend that you read it yourself as well. Beg, borrow or — well…don’t steal. But you need to read it!

One lucky winner will also win a copy of Organized Simplicity!

To enter, leave me a comment and tell me about one area in your life that you’d like to simplify!

This giveaway ends at 5pm ET on Monday, 12/6. The winner will be selected randomly and notified by email, and this post will be updated with their name as well!
