As the holiday season winds up, it’s a good time to stop and create a strategy for your blog and how you’ll balance busier seasons in “real life” with your responsibilities as a blogger. If you’re a personal blogger who blogs to connect with people or keep family and friends up to date, you may simply post less (or not at all!) so that you can focus on your family and the holidays.
But for many “professional” bloggers, however you define that, not posting simply isn’t an option. Instead, many of us republish older posts, seek guest posts or scale back our post frequency. There is no right or wrong way to handle blogging during busier seasons, but I’d love to hear how you do it…
What do you do when you need or want a blogging break?
Do you simply not post?
Do you republish old posts? How do you decide which ones to republish?
Have you ever felt like you had to blog even though you really didn’t want to?
Looking forward to reading your answers!
