The following post is from Kacey of Next Level Mama: Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar
Does all the hustle and bustle of the holidays leave your family at a loss for what the spirit of Christmas really means? Or are you ever concerned your kids (and maybe even yourself) are way too focused on receiving gifts rather than giving them? Do you want to actually enjoy Christmas this year? Well, if you’re willing to try something new with your family, we may have just the spark you all need: The Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar.
Starting December 1st and leading up until Christmas, you and your family can spend the holiday season giving unto others through various acts of kindness. Many of these ideas require little money – just your time and willingness to help brighten the day of others. Won’t you give it a try?
Included in the printable below are 25 recommended activities. You can print the two pages out on 8.5 x 11 paper and cut them into individual rectangles. Fold each rectangle into small squares and, starting December 1st, take turns pulling out a different kindness challenge each day.
Click here to download or print the Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar.
Your turn…I love to hear other traditions your family has for keeping joy in the holiday season. Does anyone else share any of the concerns mentioned above?
