Fall has arrived.

I realize that chaos will ensue.  The holidays are here.

Don’t get me wrong: I love fall! In fact, it is my favorite season.  I love the cool air, the smell of pumpkin and coffee, the cheering of football, and the routine of kids back in school.  I even love all the madness of the holidays.

Fear of Fall?

What gets me down is the lack of energy I seem to have to keep up with it all.  

Yes, I could live on coffee and chocolate and run around like a chicken without at head, but that just creates the “Who-is-THAT-Mommy” that my kids are not excited to see.  I used to think, “How else does it all get done?”

How about you?  Do you already have lists, calendars, and events swirling in your brain?  Does it make you tired just thinking about it?  Do you foresee late nights, sugar as your favorite snack, and coffee as your primary source of energy? Can you imagine the blur of life you will lead until the day after Christmas when you collapse into a heap and pray that you can sleep until the New Year?
