In response to our Shaklee FAQs post a few weeks ago, one of the biggest questions from readers was why there’s no public list of ingredients for Shaklee cleaning products.
Understandably, the appearance of secrecy makes people nervous.
I’ve partnered with Sarah from My Three Boys to introduce you to Shaklee products and answer your questions, and she has graciously been emailing product FAQ sheets out to people who request them.
One thing to keep in mind is that Shaklee is not going to share their exact product formulations because those are proprietary, but here’s what I can tell you.
1. Shaklee products have been endorsed by Healthy Child, Healthy World, and the Shaklee CEO is part of the HCHW advisory board.
2. You won’t find any of these ingredients in Shaklee Get Clean products:
- 1, 4-dioxane kerosene
- hydrochloric acid
- sulfuric acid
- sulfamic acid
- petroleum distillates
- sodium hydroxide
- butyl cellosolve
- phosphoric acid
- chlorine bleach
- volatile organic cleaning compounds
- artificial colors
3. Their packaging is made from recycled materials with water-based inks and contains no bisphenol-A.
The Shaklee Get Clean line of products includes products for your entire home, including, all-purpose cleaners, kitchen cleaners, laundry products and cleaning tools and accessories.
If you’re not sure which products to choose, start with one of the Get Clean Kits!
If you’d like Sarah to send you the fact sheet and ingredients glossary, leave a comment below, and I’ll pass it along to her!
