Kisses for Baby Jackson

She loves to give Baby Jackson kisses! ♥

For whatever reason, it suddenly hit me this week how very close we are to having a baby in the house again. We were sure we were done (until we weren’t!), and it’s been so long since I’ve done the newborn thing (after 4 babies in 5 years!) that it all feels a bit surreal, honestly. And suddenly I’m panicking because I’m just 6 weeks from being full-term. We’re gonna have a baby in 6-9 weeks, y’all!

I wrapped up the work on most of my major projects this week — although the announcements on many of those are still to come — and I’ll be officially entering the nesting phase soon: freezer cooking, deep cleaning and scheduling blog posts for my maternity leave. In all honesty, my to-do list feels manageable because I’ve broken it down into weekly goals, but when I start to think about how close the end is, that’s when I start to panic.

Oh, yeah, and we’re starting our new school year, with some new routines and assignments for the girls, this coming week, so there’s that to juggle too!

No biggie, right? I got this. (I’m just going to keep saying it until I believe it or I run out of time!)

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading and what I’m pinning to see the other posts that make me stop and think (or, you know, drool…). You’ll find new posts all week long!
