Weekend Reading: December 1, 2012

Snow Day
source: mandiehman on Instagram

We had our first snow this week, and the girls immediately dug through the snow clothes so they could head out to play. It barely covered the ground and didn’t last for more than an hour, but it was declared “the best day ever!” nonetheless.

Our family loves the snow (although I like it best from inside our house!), so we’re hoping it was just a taste of what’s to come this winter!

As a quick reminder, today is World AIDS Day. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. Although the best way to support any cause is to donate directly, today Starbucks is donating $0.05 from every handcrafted beverage to (RED), so if you need an excuse to pick up a pumpkin spice latte or peppermint mocha…you’re welcome!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
