Weekend Reading: January 7, 2011

weather changes
a cold front rolling in (before it rolled right back out again!)

Like most of the country, we’ve been having the craziest weather lately. From 50 degrees before Christmas to the 20s last week and a snow storm a few days ago and then back up to 65 yesterday, there’s no predicting what any day will hold!

The other day I looked outside as the cold front rolled in, and it seemed like the fields around our house were literally glowing. I had to grab my camera and try to capture it, and once again I was overcome with thankfulness for my little slice of heaven in wild, wonderful West Virginia!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
