Enjoying North Carolina

After a week at the beach, we’re now spending a couple of weeks at my mom’s. We love visiting here not only because her neighborhood is simply beautiful, but also because there are a bazillion kids on her street, which means our girls get a chance to experience neighborhood life. Because there are two other families—with girls our girls’ ages—who homeschool, they’ve been running with their friends pretty much all day everyday (yay for extra motivation to get their work done!).

What I’m readingI feel like a broken record, but…:  Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time by Jeff Sutherland and Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson; I did read The Heir (The Selection #4) by Kiera Cass this week, but apparently vacations are for fluffy reading and nothing else. 🙂
