Sibling Love

Watching the girls love on Jackson slays me every time…and way more than I expected it too!

Now that they’ve all had a chance to practice holding him a bit and he’s getting a little bigger, they’re actually turning out to be pretty helpful not just in the “bring Mama a diaper please” department but in soothing him and “paci duty,” as my friend Hillary calls it.

This week his cord fell off (at his 2-week appointment, it didn’t look like it was ever going to come off!), and he’s been enjoying real sink baths…although he hates getting out of the warm water when bathtime is over! We’re also settling into a bit of a routine, and I’m so thankful that my hubby takes the evening shift to spend time with Jackson and try to give me a solid 3 hours of sleep to start the night. It doesn’t always work out, but it sure feels good when it does.

I’m taking a break from my regular link posts to enjoy the early weeks with our new baby. You can still see what I’m reading and what I’m pinning, and I’m excited to introduce you to some of my favorite bloggers as well:

Megan at Sorta Crunchy is one of those bloggers that I truly wish lived in my neighborhood. We’re actually pretty different, but I really just love her and would love the opportunity to sit and have coffee  once a week while bouncing one of her twins on my knee and laughing over our girls’ antics (because I just know they would all love each other too!). Megan blogs about everything from sorta crunchy living to TV show recaps, and posts not enough pictures of her baby boys, who are so cute!

Here are a few of my favorite posts from her archives:
