Tree Motif

I don’t mean to brag, but I’m pretty sure my husband is a creative genius! (I know…that’s totally bragging!)

While I would happily live in a plain, drab home that worked well for our family — prioritizing function over form — Sean makes our home beautiful,  and I really do love living in what often feels like an art gallery (a messy, lived-in one, but an art gallery nonetheless).

His latest project is a tree motif on the wall above our new mantle. It’s still under construction and now includes a tree on either side of the one in the picture, and I can’t wait to show you the final thing during my Christmas home tour, which should go up on Black Friday!

Speaking of Black Friday, my mom and I will also be scouring Amazon.com for all the best deals and sharing them at our sister site, JungleDealsandSteals.com, so be sure to come see what bargains we find!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
