Yesterday I wore a long-sleeved shirt for the first time this season. This morning we woke up and it was 65 degrees in our home. On Wednesday we carved our first pumpkin. Winter squash, apples and sweet potatoes fill my produce drawers. I love everything about fall, and this week it finally feels like fall in our home!
Today we’re celebrating our three fall birthday girls (3 birthdays in 3 weeks) with family. I’ve heard other moms say that something about their little ones turning 6 makes them stop and realize just how fast the time is going, and that’s been true for us as well. I love how our relationship with our oldest is changing as she gets older, but it’s hard for me to believe that she’s no longer the funny toddler that kept us busy and laughing!
Here are some of my favorite posts from this week that celebrate the fall season. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
The bonus post for today is this heart-wrenching reminder of how incredibly blessed we are from Kisses from Katie.
