Weekend Reading: September 21, 2013

Happy 6th Birthday

Oh, this silly girl! Of all of our girls, she’s the hardest to pinpoint. She spends a lot of her time in her own little world, and we often have to make her stop and look us in the eye to even ask her a simple question. On the other hand, she’s reading better than any of our girls have read at this age, and she’s a math whiz.

She’s silly and dramatic and prone to shutting down completely when her feelings get hurt. She asks the deepest questions about God and was the most affected by my miscarriage last fall. She’s lovable and sweet and fierce and loud, and her hair is as wild and untamable as her personality.

And this week she turned 6! Happy birthday, Sweet Girl!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading and what I’m pinning to see the other posts that make me stop and think (or, you know, drool…). You’ll find new posts all week long!
