“May the Lord make His face to shine upon you…”
I’ve had a thing for capturing rays of sunlight since the first time I remember noticing them. My parents took a friend and me to New York City for my 13th birthday, and as we were walking around the U.N. plaza, there were these gorgeous sunbeams shining down on the country flags. I can still see it so vividly, which is funny because I can tell you very few details about that trip otherwise!
As we were leaving for church on Sunday morning, the fogginess in the air created sunbeams through the trees for most of our ride, but it was when we came around this bend that they took our breath away. So, yes, we slowed down to almost nothing on a rural highway to take this picture. Probably not the safest decision, but seriously, how could we resist?
Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading and what I’m pinning to see the other posts that make me stop and think (or, you know, drool…). You’ll find new posts all week long!
