I actually made these felt fringe scarves for all of my girls a couple of years ago, and they’re still favorites around here because they’re so warm and cozy. They make great stocking stuffers, additions to Operation Christmas Child boxes for colder climates, gifts for friends, and more.
Like all of the 101 Days of Christmas projects, if I can do this, anyone can — I promise!
Supplies for Felt Fringe Scarf:
- fleece in 2-3 different designs/colors
- scissors
- straight pins
- sewing machine or needle & thread
Directions for Felt Fringe Scarf:
Cut three strips of 6″ wide fleece. You can use all one color, but mixing and matching are fun. The length will depend on your recipient, but between 4′ to 5′ should be good!
Lay all three strips on top of one another and carefully pin them together.
Using a straight stitch, sew a single seam that runs the length of the strips.
Cut 1″ horizontal strips on both sides of the seam, leaving 1/2″ or so on both sides of the seam.
Fluff the scarf.
