There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself occasionally, but this habit can harm both your health and your wallet over time. By creating a meal schedule every week, you can avoid the need for costly takeaways and unhealthy binges and instead plan a series of hearty, nutritious dinners. This makes your life a lot easier as you can buy all the ingredients in one single shopping trip, and you’re sorted for the next seven days. If you don’t get your eight hours a night, your cognitive functions will suffer, and you become a higher risk for a multitude of diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular problems. Staring at phones or watching TV before bed can greatly reduce the quality of your sleep, so try to avoid them for at least two hours before bed. Instead, pick up a book or play a game with your family to wind down. You’ll wake up better rested and more prepared to take on the day. Go decaf in the afternoon

Caffeine is another thing that can seriously damage the quality of your sleep. And while you don’t have to cut out your morning cup of coffee, it’s a good idea to switch up to decaffeinated drinks after lunch to ensure you get the best rest possible. Decaf coffee often tastes just as good as regular, or you could experiment with various herbal teas instead.
