‘m not sure it matters how hard you try to avoid it…Christmas ends up being a time of over-indulgence. Cookies and candy canes, stockings and classroom parties, parades and family get-togethers—there are sweet treats everywhere you turn!
For our family, avoiding treats at all cost isn’t the solution; I have a feeling that forbidden fruit is that much more enticing. But we do try to limit the treats AND make healthy choices the rest of the day so our bodies are getting the good stuff they need as well.
One of our favorite choices? Cuties.
I’ve been dying for a chance to show off Jackson’s mad Cutie-peeling skillz for weeks now, so I laughed when they approached me about writing a sponsored post this week. There really couldn’t be a better fit; we go through bags of these each week, and Jackson grabs several out of the produce drawer each day. He needs a bit of help starting the peel and then he finishes peeling it on his own.
You can always tell when he’s had one by the pile of peels he leaves behind—ha!
But Cuties make a great snack for any age. Last year, when I was walking regularly, I would crave their juicy sweetness after a cold winter walk.
