Question of the Day: Where You Do Your Best Thinking

best thinking in the shower

I know I’m not the only one who does my best thinking in the shower. There’s just something about the relaxation, the quiet and the fact that there’s no to-do list to check off that lets me brainstorm and think through problems.

For the same reasons, I also do a lot of thinking when I’m in the car by myself or laying in bed at night. But if you put me in a quiet room with a pen and paper and ask me to brainstorm, suddenly all bets are off and my ideas are decidedly stiff and uncreative.

Today I want to know…

Where do you do your best thinking?

Is it in the shower? In the car? While drinking your morning cup of coffee?

Are you more creative when there’s no pressure to write your ideas down, or s the environment the most important factor?

What hinders your creativity, brainstorming or problem solving?

Looking forward to reading your answers!
