Weekend Reading: March 3, 2012

skiing

Last Monday, on a beautiful spring-like day, Sean and I took the big girls skiing for the first time at a local resort.

Sean likes to joke that this mountain is perfect for teaching kids to ski because the black diamonds are like green trails on other mountains. It’s not quite that bad, but with the slushy snow, we did find ourselves poling down more than one run! The girls picked it up so quickly, though, and it was really fun to watch them try new things and develop their skills.

I’m perfectly happy on the bunny hill myself, and I don’t think it will be long before I’m skiing by myself while they’re off skiing the black diamonds with their Daddy!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
