It's a frog!

After almost 4 weeks away from home, I’m afraid that reentry into our normal life is going to be tough on everyone!

Although we’ve still been working and homeschooling the past two weeks, the girls have spent hours and hours each day playing with friends in the neighborhood, exploring the woods and creek behind the houses, forming various clubs, and riding bikes and scooters and rollerblades. Our little girls have spent countless hours walking and “training” two of the neighborhood dogs, and all of our girls have discovered the joy of bouncing around from house to house for afternoon snacks and fun. We even got a chance to climb in a fire truck when the firefighter across the street brought his truck by one evening for a visit.

There will still be plenty of time and space for exploring when we get home, of course, but without the addition of an extra dozen or so kids to play with, it’s going to take some getting used to!
