Christmas baking
making a special treat for the 101 days of Christmas series

Yesterday the girls and I made a yummy treat to share as part of our 101 Days of Christmas series. It’s fun to work on the site together as a family, even in small ways, but I’m also looking forward to some dedicated Christmas baking time next month without having to worry about taking photos of the final product or making sure our goodies are “picture perfect”!

Although it really snuck up on me, I’m excited that Thanksgiving is finally here and looking forward to spending a few days with family and friends next week! I’ll be making sweet potato casserole and a crustless pumpkin pie, and then we’ll head to my parent’s house, where I’ll help my mom finish up dinner. We’re hoping to fit in family pictures as well, so hopefully the girls will cooperate!

Be sure to subscribe to Jungle Deals & Steals and follow us on Facebook, because after we finish our family celebration, we’ll be hard at work bringing you all of the best Black Friday deals. Amazon usually meets or beats many of the deals you find in other stores, but they go quickly, so you’ll want to check in throughout the day if you’re watching for specific items!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long.

I wanted to be sure you saw all of the other great posts from my fellow Eat Well, Spend Less bloggers, since they’re so timely with Thanksgiving in just a few days!
