This idea just sort of came together over the past few weeks, but I love how it turned out!
We found these gorgeous mixed pears while grocery shopping (for just $0.99/lb.!) and I couldn’t resist buying two bags. Then I was looking for a container for a Christmas party we were attending, and I remembered these fun galvanized steel tubs. We had received a box of goodies with this shredded paper packing material, and it was a perfect fit. And then I remembered the pears, so I prepared a second tub and filled it with pears!
Later that week, the girls and I went caroling with some friends from church at a local retirement home, and I wanted to take the pears to their staff, but they need a little somethin’-somethin’, so I made these cute little “partridge in a pear tree” tags and tied ’em on with green ribbon.
I wanted to make the tags a little more versatile, so I made two different sizes to share with you. The gift tags are one sided, but you can choose from two backs for the square cards. Simply print page 1, flip your paper over and print either page 2 or page 3 for an easy double-sided card!

Don’t forget to print the matching appreciation cards as well!
