This idea just sort of came together over the past few weeks, but I love how it turned out!
We found these gorgeous mixed pears while grocery shopping (for just $0.99/lb.!), and I couldn’t resist buying two bags. Then I was looking for a container for a Christmas party we were attending, and I remembered these fun galvanized steel tubs. We received a box of goodies with this shredded paper packing material, which was a perfect fit. And then I remembered the pears, so I prepared a second tub and filled it with pears!
Later that week, the girls and I went caroling with some friends from church at a local retirement home, and I wanted to take the pears to their staff, but they need a little somethin’-somethin’, so I made these cute little “partridge in a pear tree” gift tags and tied ’em on with green ribbon.
I wanted to make the tags a little more versatile, so I made two different sizes to share with you. The gift tags are one-sided, but you can choose from two backs for the square cards. Simply print page 1, flip your paper over and print either page 2 or page 3 for an easy double-sided card!
